Annie in the Garden

Annie (CH Chancellor's Annie Get Your Gun CD, RA, RN, TT, CGC) is a 6 year old purebred Rottweiler bitch. She lives in our California home with her younger brother, another Rottweiler named Sam, and, until recently, our cat Grace. She has a wonderful disposition, perhaps the best we’ve known in any dog, of any breed. She is happy and active, eager to please and is an excellent athlete. She loves people and other animals and gets along especially well with children. She has developed into a beautiful show girl but our primary goal in breeding her is to pass her outstanding temperament to succeeding generations.

Annie Wins 2010 Rottweiler National Brood Bitch Competition

National Brood Bitch
At the 2010 ARC National Specialty in Greeley, Colorado Annie and her boys defeated eight other teams to win the National Brood bitch title. Annie was accompanied by her sons: Bismarck's Sudd'N Attraction (Crush) and Multi Group Placing/BOB GCH Bismarck's Anticipation CD, RE, CGC (Rush). Thanks to owners Tina Campos (Crush) and Steph Anderson (Rush) for doing such a fine job raising, training and showing Annie's boys. A special "Thank you" to judge Mike Jackman for recognizing this wonderful family of Rottweilers.

Annie's Show Career

Annie-Winners at ARC Specialty 2007
Annie at One Year - Winner's Bitch Richmond Dog Fanciers, Dixon, California - August, 2006

As a show dog, she is a medium sized Rottweiler bitch with good proportions. She has very good top and bottom lines, good angulation front and rear, fluid movement, moderate bone, excellent coat with dark rich Rottweiler coloring (black and mahogany) and excellent markings, a correct scissor bite, correct feet with strong pasterns, dark almond eyes, moderate ear length carried close to the head and an attractive bitch head with a strong stop and good muzzle strength. She was two years old before we showed her seriously and she did very well: in a few outings she had both her Majors and a total of twelve points. The week she got pregnant, at the American Rottweiler Club Specialty in Pleasanton, California, she took Winner's Bitch and a 5 Point Major by beating 40 of the best bitches around. Annie resumed her show career three months after having her litter. She finished her AKC Championship in two weekends upon her return to the show ring.

Sam & Annie - Top Dogs at Cow Palace
Sam & Annie at The Cow Palace 2009 - Annie's last conformation event was the Golden Gate Kennel Club show held annually at the San Francisco Cow Palace. This is the largest benched show on the West coast and in 2009 Rottweilers were the largest breed entry in the show. On Sunday, Annie took Best of Opposite Sex to her brother, Sam, who took Best of Breed. It was a magic moment for us and a fitting recognition of the outstanding conformation of this pair of Rottweilers. We are very proud of them both. We thank Judge Keke Kahn for her selection.
